We have been practicing dentistry for twenty five years now and enjoy being able to offer comprehensive  general, cosmetic and reconstructive care. We strive to limit your exposure to harmful aspects of dental treatment. We have not used mercury-based filling materials ( silver or amalgam filings ) for over eight years now. We incorporate current IAOMT ( International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology; www.iaomt.org  ) guidelines for safe removal of your mercury-based fillings, which include rubber damming with a non-latex based material, high volume suction and oral aerosol evacuation ( DentAirVac ), positive flow oxygen and Clean Up. We also capture mercury exiting the office through the vacuum system with a mercury separator, which protects the waste water from mercury overload. The environment needs as much help as we can give it.
